Designated Survivor creator David Guggenheim has signed with CAA.
The scribe burst onto the scene when he wrote the spec script for Safe House, which became the hit thriller starring Denzel Washington and Ryan Reynolds.
The script opened doors for the writer, who booked high-profile assignments (he worked on Bad Boys 3 and Uncharted for Sony Pictures in recent times) and sold additional spec.
Designated Survivor, which he exec produces, stars Kiefer Sutherland and is currently in its first season.
Guggenheim had been at Paradigm, where he was repped by David Boxerbaum.
He continues to be repped by manager Adam Kolbrenner at Madhouse Entertainment and attorney is Jamie Afifi at Ziffren Brittenham.
